Vocational Rehabilitation Services Job Placements

Individualized vocational rehabilitation services, on-the-job training, and job coaching are available for job seekers looking to prepare for, get, keep, and grow in meaningful career paths. Our ongoing conversations with jobseekers ensure they have the resources to develop a lasting and meaningful career.

As a Community Rehabilitation Provider (CRP), PCSI partners with vocational rehabilitation programs to help individuals with disabilities find suitable employment opportunities.

Our services include:
  • Job Placement: Matching individuals with disabilities to suitable job roles that align with their skills and aspirations.
  • Career Counseling: Providing personalized career guidance and support to help individuals achieve their professional goals.
  • Training and Development: Offering job-specific training and skill development to enhance employability and career advancement.

The Community Employment Program (CEP)

PCSI’s Community Employment Program (CEP) focuses on creating meaningful employment opportunities for individuals with disabilities in their local communities. We collaborate with local job fairs, referral sources, and workforce development experts to identify and support capable individuals with disabilities seeking employment. By leveraging our expertise and strong community ties, PCSI helps individuals with disabilities secure rewarding employment opportunities and build successful careers.

CEP services include:
  • Partnerships with Local Businesses: Collaborating with companies like Amazon, Home Depot, and Marriott to place individuals in fulfilling roles.

  • Customized Employment Plans: Developing flexible and individualized employment plans that cater to the unique needs of each participant.

Talent at PCSI

Our Workforce Development team recruits, assesses, trains, and supports our employees throughout their careers at PCSI. Before hiring, we plan necessary accommodations such as assistive technology, interpretive services, ergonomic furnishings, or allowances for breaks or healthcare appointments. These supports enable people with disabilities to participate in the workforce, contribute to the economy, and gain independence.

At PCSI, we believe disability should never limit career advancement. We work with each employee to set short- and long-term goals and design training and job tasks to meet their desired career path. Many hourly employees have advanced to leadership, supervisory, and management roles, with 80% of our contract management team having started in hourly positions.
